Joe have you heard if the Freeze will have a booth or anything at Celebrate Erie this weekend?

Are we even having a team next year? I've never seen such silence from a sports organization before.

Answer to the first question. No, Scott and myself have been on this for about the last 3 months. No one ever got back with us.
Answer to question number two. Not sure on this yet. A lot of problems.

I could tee off on this subject, but I decided to put the soap box away. Mainly because getting my blood pressure sky high isn't healthy or worth it... Joe you gonna be down there tonight?

That sucks. Was finally going to get season tickets. yeah being a season ticket holder the past 2 years and supporting this team through all the BS that occured. If this team ceases to be, it'll feel like getting your guts ripped out.

That's why I wasn't ready to commit before. I thought they had things on track.

I sent them an email on Monday morning asking them if they were going to do anything for C. Erie. I asked them to let me know by Friday if something was up. I haven't heard anything back yet. I wanted to know by today since I have to work tonight. Last year Joe got the call on Sat. morning and Joe and I worked the crowd with Dave & Christina. I played the part of the yeti and Joe went as himself. We handed out season ticket fliers and Dum-Dums to the kids and I posed for a lot of pics, but that was about it. Who knows we MIGHT get a call tomorrow, but I doubt it.

That sucks. Was finally going to get season tickets. I was considering the same thing to, since I go to almost every home game anyways but after this past season problems I quickly changed my mind. Hard to believe how one bad season could bring a lot of things crashing down. To tell the truth, only way I see the Freeze continuing is under new ownership.

That sucks. Was finally going to get season tickets. I would hate to see Erie fold but if something happens, the RiverRats would welcome Erie fans with open arms. But the first option is to get the Freeze back up and running.
