Like dying your hair blue all year. And going to every event in Erie. IE: Seawolves games, Celebrate Erie Days, Erie Horror Fest, Rib Fest, Art Fest, etc. I'm a free walking billboard. Thats for sure. Best advertising is word of mouth. How many people come up to you at these events and ask why your hair is blue? Its good advertising....

I was told today, " If I was a betting man, you can sure bet the Freeze will be back", said D. Hodas.
Granted there are issues this year. But, it is not my position to talk about them. They do however need addressed.

I think the Freeze will be back. When Hodas was 1400AM a few weeks ago, I was really impressed by him.

Seems like Erie advertises more than the Titans do. There's no flyers, billboards or anything in this city to say that the Titans even exists. News coverage is terrible. The only good thing is the coaches show and game broadcast on 106.1 FM and the only people who know about that is the diehard fans. Advertising is a big key to success. The web is the new inexpensive way of advertising and many franchises don't take full advantage of that.

Everyone......and their brother. i got mistaken for the Blue meanie from ECW at the Horror fest 6 times. I've been refered to as Krusty,Beetlejuice, Papa Smurf,Thing 1 or 2 from Dr Seuss, etc. But when I tell them about the Freeze, they are attentive and want to find out about a game. The best quote that I've had for the past three years is: Once you go to a game, I guarantee that you will be addicted. look what it has done to me since 2000 when we had an IFL team.

I do believe that Hodas wants the team to have success but you do need to spend the money. Transportation to far away games has been used has an example already. Here are some things I will like to see changed:
1. On far away games (more then 4-5 hours or so) hotel rooms and buses should be reserved. I drove to my sisters in Bloomington IL (about same distince has Danville) and I would of laughed at you if you expected me to play full contact sport the day I got there.
2. Site update.
3. Better updates on roasters, player/team appearances, etc.
4. Better advertising. I'm not talking about emptying the bank account but I'm sure a advertising agency can help out here. I still meet local people who don't know about the Freeze. How often does the Freeze give out tics to companies in the area? I know some money may be lost here but in turn you may win some people over.
Selling merchandise in local stores may be a good way to rise some money. I always see otters and seawolves stuff at Erie Sport Store but never any Freeze stuff.

"{sneeze}Danville{sneeze}" The Freeze have their problems, but no where near what's going on in Danville.

we try to set the standard for doing as much wrong without completely folding.

we try to set the standard for doing as much wrong without completely folding. If it's any consolation. Mr. Morris said Danville wasn't going anywhere.

first off danville is HORRIBLE, how they beat the freeze is mind blowing. of course you can say that it didn't help them when they went to the game in a limo. (not trying to make excuses but i'd just like to throw that out there). i really do hope to god that the freeze will be back next year. but as we can all agree somethings NEED to change for them to be better. some things that i would like to see with the players.... 1) germany is the leader of that D no doubt about it, but also a player that is overlook is duwan smith (excuse the spelling) one of those 2 have to take charge of the D 2) the secondary must get better 3) d line not that bad hopefully they'll all come back 4) if laverde doesn't come back they need a qb in the worst way 5) the line played great as everyone agrees (i think) but will all three of them come back next season. sitter i heard was done, peluso i heard is coaching at edinboro and may not be back and i don't know about pullen. 6) kevin scott is 10 times better than darmel. he's your franchise player. he kicks field goals, kicks off, plays D, running back, receiver, returns kicks, washes the uniforms, cooks the hot dogs and popcorn for the venders, sells t shirts, puts the on the yetti's uniform and plays with the children, all in one game. 7) advertise advertise advertise 8) better housing 9) new field
those are what i think and what other people have posted we all agree on some points hopefully, the right people see this and make the changes.
