(November 15, 2006 – Erie, PA) Christina Lutsch, Franchise Operations Director of the Freeze, announced today the 2007 season Chiller open tryout.
The Chillers dance team is in its third year performing for the AIFA Erie Freeze indoor football team.
The team dances at halftime and timeouts and they also cheer and perform in various promotions during the game. The team also makes appearances at outside events throughout the year, such as sponsorship promotions, fan days, on-site radio promotions, etc.
Practices are twice a week at a location to be announced after the dance team has been selected, where they will continue to work out to stay in shape for the season.
The Chillers are required to dance at all home games and expected to volunteer for events throughout the season. The season is from February through May, and it could be extended if the team makes it to the playoffs. Only one tryout will be held for the 2007 season. The Chillers are looking to field a team of fifteen.
The emphasis is on entertainment and team promotion, so everyone has a chance to make the roster. Everybody, from former high school cheerleaders to professional dancers, who are eighteen (18) years or older, are invited to tryout.
When:
Saturday, December 9th 2006

Avalon Hotel 16 West 10th Street Erie, Pennsylvania 16501
